I was a student of Condi’s at Stanford. In spite of the current administration’s decisions, Condi weighs many variables when making her choices. She thinks and speaks in complete paragraphs—I think that might be how her mind works. That she can access a whole conceptual scheme when she considers issues, and that she knows how each one plays out. I’ll be interested to see what comes from Condi when she’s permitted to be herself. I think then she might bend more of the rules, or even change the games played in politics.
